“I work in education, teaching students to care for their bodies and the environment by making proper food and activity choices. In my ‘free’ time, I have a small farm (Five Sprouts Farm) where my wife and I focus our efforts on growing our five children surrounded by healthy local food and hard work. I got involved with the Food System Council because I am passionate about local food and sustainability, and I now serve as the chair.”
We thought it would be fun to highlight members from the Food System Council every week so that you could get to know us!
We are a volunteer Clark County citizen council made up of members that represent health, nutrition, education, food security, waste management, resource conservation, business, agriculture, food distribution, and the greater community.
